Foundations of Ayurvedic Medicine 1a Best studied with Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Sarasvati Buhrman, Dr. Bharat Vaidya, or now live online through the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico, or others if the timing works for you. We also suggest you consult the masters such as Dr. Vasant Lad's books. Depending on your depth of interest, he has several. We require at least 15 hours for live study/AyurDoula students seeking certification through SAcred Window Ayurveda.

   Amadea Morningstar, Maya Tiwari and others offer wonderful ayurvedic cookbooks. Dr. Lad and his wife Usha offer their Ayurvedic Cooking for Self Healing book, especially valuable for the medicinal uses section of foods and culinary herbs. 15 hours minimum live study for the AyurDoula certificate.
