My skills are strong for postnatal doula care over the last 16 years with special gifts from Ayurveda. My passion, sharing these ancient traditions around the world which center and empower personal and community life from the hub of the wheel of family life, mothers and babies. Sustainability is a significant factor here too. With care traditions that nourish, rejuvenate and strengthen patterns for love and health that last a lifetime - and support the next many generations.

PPD and related mood imbalances are considered a big mystery by many experts. At least they are realizing the need to address it. Ayurvedic medicine and the wise women traditions of many cultures around the world that do similar things find it not any big mystery at all.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGES as of 8/24/10. In order to focus on book revisions and some advanced training herself, Ysha will be offering a 6 part series on perinatal uses of essential oils only this fall. Winter - Spring classes will be announced here and by newsletter. The perinatal essential oils class for locals is "nose" on and more, or join us using the virtual media if you wish to participate from a distance.

This fulfills the required course in Ayurvedic Postpartum Home Spa Care as part of the Ayurvedic Postpartum Care or AyurDoula certificate training program, beginning August 21, 2010. This may provide 18 CEU's for massage therapists.

Class size is limited to 14 participants
